Welcome to the NEW RockErie.com. As Erie’s #1 Local Music Source, you can still find out where bands are playing in the around town section, who’s who in the artist section, and the latest articles from Dr. Rock himself.  We’re working on a few new features such as: a new calendar, an updated jamroom, and our own RockErie Radio. On RockErie radio you can listen to local artist playing their own hits from Country, to Hip Hop, and everything in between as well as stations comprised of local Rock Erie Music Award nominees.

Congratulations to all the artists in the RockErie Music Awards 2009! To see the list of winners, visit rockeriemusicawards.com.

The Watson Twins, "Talking to You, Talking to Me" ***1/2
After Barack Obama was elected president, some people jokingly asked folk-activist duo Emma's Revolution if they planned to retire.
The rumor isn't true. Toronto rock band Three Days Grace did not write "World So Cold" during its last tour stop in Erie.
The national "Hope for Haiti Now" concert pulled in about $57 million last Friday. That's not counting millions more that will roll in from downloads of songs that were performed that night by Taylor Swift, Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, and more.
Virtually every major television network in the land will broadcast the same two-hour special on Friday at 8 p.m.: "Hope for Haiti."
You say you want a revolution?
